In addition to Nuytco on the north shore, International Submarine Engineering 
makes its home in Port Coquitlam, just outside of Vancouver, which is a 
possibility.  Incidentally, the sonar manufacturer Imagenex is also in the 
area.  We could also tour the Vancouver Maritime Museum (the remains of the 
Ben Franklin are on the lawn here), and perhaps the Vancouver Aquarium.  The 
Underwater Archaeology Society of BC has its meetings once a month at the 
maritime museum, and often has some very interesting presentations for those 
interested in wreck research / exploration - I could probably cue up a 
representative to address the PSUBS group if scheduling permits.
