Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] New Submarine Project... Need Input.

Hey Frank my toy is on hold for another week or so. I am in Michigan playing hehhe
I havn't played much in Superior yet, but you can count on good up to 100' visibility
and cold. 39F hows that for a chill

For sure my area could hold some good sub times. Everything here ya could want.
And it's all fresh water

I am having some 3/4" angle ribs made for my outer hull. Max dia about 4'. I am really
trying to keep a 5-1 length ratio. I still wanna go fast darn racing blood still a boiling

The way things are going you'll probably beat me getting wet, but I am sure I'll beat
you in a drag race

I still am unsure about the convention yet. At this point I would guess not going to
get there. But it is high on my wanna do

Dean

Hi Dean. How's the project coming ? I hope to see it up close one of these days. Maybe we could get some subs together back there and have some fun. A psubs convention with sailing in the Great Lakes would be a blast. I've never dove there and was wondering how the visibility is.
I hope to have mine ready to travel soon ( Spring ? ) and will bring it out when it's ready. Are you making this year's convention ? Hope to see you there, Frank D.
Oh ya....I like hammers too!
