Hi Ray. Just a quick comment on the pins. The safety pin style back makes
it so the pin doesn't lay flat on your shirt/vest/pocket or whatever. Because
they're made of metal and have some weight to them, the safety pin back makes
them hang at an angle downward, plus it makes two holes in your shirt, rather
than one with either the screw back or butterfly clasp. I'd think the butterfly
is fine for most uses, and if you want it to be permanent ( relatively) we just
put a drop of glue on the butterfly dome before pushing it home on the shaft. It
stays put at high speeds but can still be removed with a good tug.
