I really appriciate the offer to come up to michigan. I may have to do that! I do have to say, it will be interesting learning to navigate the waters in Kansas due to the lack of visability. Again thankyou for the warm welcome!

My name is Scott Waters. I live in Kansas. I was living in Islamorada in the Florida Keys untill my job contract ended. I have always dreamed of building a submarine and have finally found a way to make it a reality. I am planning on building this primarily for recriation, but also for work on dam flood gates and underwater dock ancorings in local lakes. I am scuba certified and have a little bit of experience on submarines by helping with the up keep and restoration of a retired oil rig submarine as well as atlantis submarines. I have a crew of three people. One specializes in welding of high pressure tanks, the other specializes in electronics. We plan to start this project in about three months once we prep our work site. I am excited for this project and hope to keep in touch with everyone about their progress as well as mine. Thanks!
