PUBLIC NOTICE

RFC-20070002 (Phonetic Communication for Dive Operations) has been adopted
by PSUBS as an operational guideline for personal submersibles with an
effective date of January 7, 2008.  This guideline can be found in Chapter
1, Section 3, Item 1 of the Operating Guidelines for Personal Submersibles
published at http://www.psubs.org/guidelines/PSUBS

PSOG 1.3.1, Phonetic Communication.
The NATO phonetic alphabet shall be used in all communications between
persons participating in submersible diving operations.
