We live in Calif. ,  have a beach house in Florida, and are looking at buying a canal home in Michigan for access to the Great Lakes. As I'm newly retired, I plan on spending a lot of time on or around the water.
I grew up on the beach on the Great Lakes near Toronto, and have always been near some large body of water.
Frank did you put your controllers in the epoxy? If so what did you use? What depth did you use?
I am working in that area now, I have been thinking it can be done with solid wire outboard connections.

For sure you can go up to a 25hp outboard, and take in on and off. Just keep with
a two cycle the 4cyl get heavy fast

Congratulations on your retirement, but you should know there are 5 great lakes and
one of them is SUPERIOR HEHEHH

And Dan I will be spending quite a bit of time in Grand Haven, as my fiancee is from there.
I'll have to come over and visit, and steal all your ideas.
