RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Seehund submarine drawings

No one is guilty.  It is still a nice looking submarine.  From what I understand about RC submarines, they are based on the real submarine.  While it is an RC submarine, it does do a break down, which is very helpful.  I am glad that a Seehund is being restored.  Hopefully, U-534 can have the same fate.  As I understand, France turned a former uboat bunker into a musseum, and the thought accured to me, to see if U-534 could be moved to that musseum.  This is the first time I expressed that thought.

Yes I am guilty of not paying enought attention,it is only a RC boat but the pictures are nice.  I was searching something completely different and only by chance I saw the pictures.  This boat is very well documented and there is even a nice film of the recovery and restoration of the Seehund from the Marine Museum in Wilhelmshaven.
Best wishes

I also agree that it looks very nice.  I have various WW2 uboat books, and several do have general plan of several types.  Plus differant kinds of propulsion are covered.  Another good book is the Uboat Commander's Handbook 1943 Edition.  The Seehund on the site is still a nice look sub.

Nice ?. But a RC sub.

See if you can find on the book ?midget submarines of the second world war? by P. Kemp isbn 1- 840670521-7.
This book contains a large general (original!) plan of the Seehund and the British X craft.

These subs are well documented; Perfect for a replica;-)
