Dean, This vessel may be a little small for your application.
George Kittredge designed and built a tender for his personal use that had a
rear inclined ramp for drawing a K-series sub aboard. This vessel was 40
ft in length. Your sub is longer (and probably heavier) than what this
vessel was designed for. In your case, the issue will be how the vessel’s stability
will be affected by the addition of the weighty submersible above the water
line. While it may work from a size and draft stand point, your stability
will seriously be altered unfavorably. R/Jay Respectfully, Jay K. Jeffries Andros Is., Bahamas A skimmer afloat is but a submarine, so poorly built it will not

anyone attempted to load their sub into the support vessel. I
am building a highly modified k350 total length around 20' beam
5' outer shell. My
thoughts were using a 36' 12' beam 60's vintage Criss
Craft Roamer steel hull. Thinking on opening up transom and
winching the sub in and close the transom. Looking
at the hull design and rough calculations of weight and
draft of the Roamer It looks like it would work. Am
