Hi guys, Jon's convention update gave me an idea..... I've got two steel
rings left over from my window flanges. They are 1 inch thick, 2 inches wide,
and 20 inch diameter outside ( 16'' inside )Dimensions are approx.
They were cut with a water jet, and are nice and smooth. Just regular A36
steel and I thought I would keep them for additional windows as a later add-on,
but I think I better finish what I've got first.
Any way, I had a lot of trouble finding a source for rings like that, and
because they are extra, maybe one of the guys still in design mode could use
them. If any one is interested let me know.
They're pretty heavy, and I don't know what the shipping would be, but I
was quoted $400 plus shipping from an outfit in Texas for rings like this. Just
thought I'd put that out there.
