RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] on-board air.



Why worry about it when air is so cheap from a local dive shop.  You also have to worry about the CO2 freezing and blocking valves as it expands since it has a much higher freezing temperature than air.  You also can’t use it as a backup life support system.

Hi Guys. Has anyone considered using compressed CO2 for blowing ballast? It seems to me that a liquid CO2 tank would have a lot more volume than an air tank.Frank D.
