It sounds like the actual ownership of the ol' tub
is a bit grey.
It seems to be potentially 'abandoned property'
that is perhaps
subject to a claim of ownership based solely on its
location on
one person or another's land.
I kinna doubt it would have been harvested for
scrap. I can't imagine
the undertaking vs. payoff to be
worthwhile.
