[PSUBS-MAILIST] Psub in distress



Have anyone considered the probability to be rescued in case of an
emergency in submerged stage ? A distress buoy can help getting
attention, but what else? I think submariners in psubs needs to be
able to rescue them self. Up here in Norway, we have no rescue vessels
for quick response in matters like this. Looking back to the rescue of
KURSK, we are talking about days before rescue arrives. Thoughts
anyone?
