FYI, I have the report from the navy shipyard that did the pressure testing on a K-250 built by Kittredge himself. It failed at a little over 800 feet when the acryllic dome shattered. There was no other damage to the sub however. I'll post it and let you know when I have it online. It's an interesting document. Out of curiosity, some months ago I used the ABS spreadsheet to model the K-250, and was very impressed with the results.
