Beautiful CAD work Joe. I really like the detail you put into the MSV
Alvin Jr. I'm partial to exploded views of models and transparent parts
myself. Is it possible to get a IGES file from you on the articulating
human form you used in the sub model ?? I was wondering if the four high
pressure storage tanks attached just above your battery pods could be
designed to fit inside of the saddle tanks? This would do at least two
things. One you'd have a little more submerged stability, since those
tanks will be empty of fluid at all times no matter wether they are fully
charged with air or O2 or not. Second and more importantly your sub will
have less hydrostatic drag for towing with a boat or just under it's own
power. Your design could also be stretched out a few feet to allow for a
closed off area with noise canceling foam for a diesel generator and/or
more passanger space.
Anyways great CAD model and thanks for sharing it with us. I like to see
sub designs with good freeboard standing area.
Sincerely
Brent Hartwig

Nice looking boat, Joe. How about adding a derrick?

All marine ply-epoxy, couldn't be any easier..... It sure is nice to
daydream!
