I've heard similar stories as what Ted just said. Well below 300 feet
as well. People falling out of racks and chairs, just not a fun time
at all.

I think one of the worst places to be during a storm would be in the
water. Best bet is probably staying landborne, and in an underground
bunker or storm cellar.
