Doesn't wood have a tendency to absorb water vapor? Downside being, I
guess, that wood burns.

SALT, however, will absorb water vapor. As will rice. Just a thought.
I guess it doesn't really cure condensation problems completely, but
it's a start towards drying out the air.

Maybe a 50 pound bag of rice be bought before each excursion? And it
doubles as ballast!

Wood is a better insulator, though.

Just a thought.
