Welcome Kris,

There really isn't a big difference in cost, if instead of starting with an 
existing tank, you purchase the sheet material and have it rolled to the 
diameter you require, and then order standard off the shelf tank ends for 
end caps.  This gives you the advantage of easily installing one piece 
frames internally and the added benefit of leaving the end of the hull 
opened while your making and installing most of what your going to have 
inside.  Also, if you order the material new, you know what your getting.
