I am using MinnKota Edrive motors (48VDC, 2Hp) on my K-350 with small 
ambient compensation reservoirs.  The MinnKota engineer I spoke with said 
they have been used to 100 ft, and can go deeper, but the shaft seals might 
start to bind at greater depths and reduce performance.  The units are 
extremely stout.

modifications.
