Maybe as a sandwich, like balsa core. Haven't
read the entire page but, as a substrate it may have its place.
If it's good in compression and torsion it may have
possibilities.

All I know is what I read. My feeling was that it
would be interesting in
a general way. Perhaps, for submarines,
for fairings and the like, but I
wonder how well it would handle being
submerged all the time.
