RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] List of reference publications from the Marin e Technology Society

Hi Alec,

I am glad you found it useful. The whole summer we were pretty much working
on Ocean Exploration in conjunction with NOAA, and other scientists. There
is a website which has al the details of the different cruises in much
better detail that I can present them here, along with pictures and videos.

The web site is :

http://www.oceanexplorer.noaa.gov

The Operations that we were involved with were:

1- Deep Scope
2- Life on the Edge
3- Florida Coast Deep Corals

There were many interesting dives and some of the dives were extraordinary.
There was never a lack of work or excitement. To me personally the coolest
dive I did was off Key West. We dove inside a sinkhole that was about 400
feet deep and found some fosilized bones of Dugongs, a close relative to the
Manatee.

I hope that you enjoy it.

Hugo
