Belle and Blade has SHARKS AND LITTLE FISHES which was a German television adaption of a German novel about some guys who go through training on minesweepers before one survives long enough to get on a U-boat which is sunk enroute to France. There is a scene of some of the sailors escaping from their U-boat.
