I tried looking for alternatives as you said, I was visiting the minn Kota`s web site and I found many alternatives of motors, the thing is that the rate the motors in lb of thrust and not in hp, does anyone now how to convert this units. Regards

Daniel,
George had them custom made . You can try Harold Maynard, but I think the supply is exhausted. Alternatives could possibly be modified Minn Kota' s or "surplus " motors and custom made housings. Either way you are pretty much on your own.

Hello, i´m building a km-350 sub from kittredge´s plans, i´m having problems finding information about the motors, the plans only says to buy 3 motors, one 3HP and the other two 1/2HP, the only thing i know about this motors is that they are pacific scientific, does any one have more information that i can use? like RPM, Frame number, Model Number, ETC. Please let me know.
