Boston -- Jason Holmes, a mechanical engineering graduate student at Boston
University and guest researcher at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, has
devised a low-cost, highly sensitive array of underwater ears that is
perking up interest in both homeland security and ocean research circles.
