Here are the current plans for the 2005 convention.

Location:   Manchester, NH
Date:         Saturday, August 20, 2005

You can stay at any hotel in the area.  I'm going to rent a conference room
as close to the highway and airport as possible to benefit travelers.  
It won't
be at the same hotel as 2003 given some of the issues we had with them.
Suggest you investigate various places to fit your taste by searching on
travelocity and similar online locations that have descriptions of 
hotels and
rates.  I'll try to get a discounted rate from whatever hotel we rent the
conference room from.

Doug Farrow and Dan Lance have committed to speak.  Alec Smyth says
that he might have some footage from a dive in Florida so I'd like to ask
him to present as well.  I'm still trying to convince George Kittredge to
attend and if you want to help in that effort you can write him at
kittredg@midcoast.com

I've sent email invitations to Phil Nyutten and Karl Stanley, but no 
response
yet.  Would have loved to see Carsten show up this year and give us a
personal update on his project but he won't be able to make it this year.
Hugo Marrero is another speaker that I'd like to entice attending.  John
Maynard has indicated he is going to try to attend this year, so if any of
you are interested in K-350 plans he may have them available at the
convention.  Mike Caudle is working on a sub and if I recall correctly
had connections for rebreather chemicals.  He might be willing to speak
to a topic.  Pierre Poulin is going to bring BIG again and will hopefully
give us an update on his sub construction project.

If you've got suggestions for other topics or people to speak, let me know
who they are and I'll send them invitations.
