There is a exhibit of the Hunley which will be hitting Ventura County - Channel Islands Harbor this May 13th thru May 15th. I believe that California is the first stop for this exhibit. The exhibit is not the origional sub but it is a replica. It is a full scale replica of the Hunley, lectures and demonstrations on how she was constructed and propelled, displays of the submarine's recovery operation, and pictures of recovered artifacts, a 30 minute program. I plan to go this coming week end.
