well...a few miles off. I used to live in that area. Had to get
out, there ain't no sunshine. My son and daughter still live in NW WA.
The Treatise II sits outside also. (did i spell that right? !!!
Treatise)
I would encourage anyone to visit the museum if they are in that
area. It is on the Olympic Penisula, and sort of off in the
woods.

Bob, Thanks
for the correction on the location of the Deep Quest and the Naval Undersea
Museum. Ray did the driving and I was a right seat tourist. I should have
looked at the map again before I posted the email. I had to find the
pictures I took to make sure I didn't have the Deep Quest confused with
another sub. I was out of town when the Deep Quest thread started . I am
sure it's the real McCoy though. Right Sub, Wrong town it's a good thing
i didn't post sooner or Brian Cox would really have his panties in a
bind! Dan Lance

Re: Deep Quest
Howdy,
The "Deep Quest" is actually out at
Keyport, Washington, which is a nice little drive from Bremerton. It's at
the Naval Undersea Mueseum, which is a pretty nice place, by the way.
If you join the mueseum you can use their library. It is a
fair drive up the road from Bangor, WA ,the Trident Submarine
Base.
The museum is free to visit, there is a donation box at
the door. They have a website. I would have to do a search for "Naval
Undersea Museum".
