Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] wire and acrylic

Oops! I left out "WHY?". Lol. Once I know who?, what? when?, where?, how?, and why? about something, I figure I have a halfway chance to understand it.
That's why I ask so many questions. Eventually I might get to know the answers to some of them and years later answer another persons questions who might remind me
of the question factory I used to be back when. Lol.
Kindest Regards,
Bill Akins.

Hi Brian.

What is ferro-cement? Some kind of metal (ferro?) mixed with some kind of epoxy? What do you plan to use it for? What are you using that "hand drawn wire" for?

Are you going to blow up your heated acrylic with air to make a dome using those ovens? Or just use them to bend the acrylic to make a standard windshield/watershield?
What kind of design is your sub Brian? Wish you the best of luck with it.

Kindest Regards,
Bill Akins.

Hi All,
Making some progress with finding materials for ferro-cement - spring manufacturers know all about the type of wire that I need for construction.  Six months of hunting for this "hard drawn wire" !   Also spring manufacturers have very precise ovens for making springs, This will be good for annealing acrylic, He said I could use his oven for that purpose when I'm ready.
