I found this spanish site that shows lots of drawings and photos of early
submarines. I clicked on "translate" but some of the wording is still
in Spanish but if you read carefully you can pick out what they are saying.
I was very impressed by some of the early pioneer work shown here.
Most notably was the 1834 (yes, 1834!) Russian missle carrying submarine
found here. http://216.239.39.104/translate_c?hl=en&u=http://www.iespana.es/rotteufel/subgenesis/sg05_006.htm&prev=/search%3Fq%3DFulton%2527s%2BMute%2Bsubmarine%26start%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26sa%3DN%3F
Here's the link to the site's main page. http://216.239.39.104/translate_c?hl=en&u=http://www.iespana.es/rotteufel/subgenesis/sg00_001.htm&prev=/search%3Fq%3DFulton%2527s%2BMute%2Bsubmarine%26start%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26sa%3DN
Once there simply click on the chapter numbers and you can also click on
the orange arrows at the top and bottom of each page.
This site is chock full of interesting early submarine info, drawings and
photos.
Kindest Regards,
Bill Akins.
