Would it be preferable for me to place the fuse outside (both the pod and the habitable)? If the fuse is inside with me, is it dangerous for me to get electrocuted if water enter the sub?

Pierre, Batteries don't spark in normal service. A salt water short circuit, or maybe the fuse blowing (which is why you pot those babies in black goo) might light them up, but if put together correctly, I can't see any way for it to happen. Mind you, if there's only one thing you learn underwater it is that you always learn underwater--maybe the other guys will input on this. Vance
