On a side note, I've been playing with a tool call iGMT (well it's really a collection
of tools):
http://www.seismology.harvard.edu/~becker/igmt/

This could be used (all be it a lot more manually) to do the same thing (or similar)
as the software side of the tool used to make those images.  I was able to down
load sonar data (in comma seperate values format) and display it on a map.
Not quiet as pretty, but I'm only start... ;-)

Oh darn, this sounds nice to see but all I get on that web page is the following error: 
 
This is the cfdefaultcase tag in the mediaGAllery dir. I received a fuseaction called "mediaGallery.showAllM" and I don't know what to do with it. 
 
Any technically savvy people in the house have a suggestion? I must need a plugin or something.

	BTW, these are only search pics, not navigational. The navigational units
	have several options (views) including a perspective view.  The pilot "sees"
	ahead of him/her and follows a "track" - parallel lines meeting in the
	distance (vanishing point).  Terribly kewl if you must know.  Straight out
	of a video game.
