      That's interesting.  I didn't know that.  How close is the "milkiness factor" in relation to the catastrophic failure point?  Seconds?  Minutes?  Hours?  Pressure cycles?

main reason for using Acrylic is that it is highly tests and the properties
of Acrylic under pressure are well understood.

As for temperature, Acrylic's strength is effected by temperature in a big
way. Can't find Stachiw charts for it right now, but if I remember correctly,
even a few degrees hotter in temperature means de-rating the window or using
thicker Acrylic.
