They have two things going for them: (1), they know enough
to take a good shot at the math, and (2) they have the balls
to make it public so it can be reviewed.

Hmmm ....  The thing does not seem to have any provision
for humans on board.  They called it a "submarine," which
suggests usually that there will be persons inside the
hull.  Or did I miss something?
