They are all flat except the one in the hatch, it is conical.

I guess Silicon or Permatex is not recommended?

 

Is it necessary to lap fit the conical port before installing?

Robby,what type of mounting do you have for the view ports....are they flat???  or are they a conical machined type.  If they are flat,,it is common to use a gasket made of cork that is impregnated with neoprene rubber.  If they are conical,,it's common to use an "O" ring.  DJB
