I believe all of us here have planed things for years and those plans change as things go along and become built.  But the out of water wight of a personal submarine is much more than just some thing to see and read in the speck sections at the end of a set of drawings.  Smaller is much better and if Claustrophobia is that much of a problem then one could spend more money on a wonderful 40 inch view port and the problem would most likely disappear.  Once the sub is submerged the acrylic view port becomes invisible and the space inside the submersible becomes as big as the ocean.....DJB
