[PSUBS-MAILIST] FYI: Home Made Force Transducer

 http://www.ouc.bc.ca/phys/p339/jm4.htm

It would be interesting to see this adapted for use on a psubs.
Thin film strain guages could be placed at various spots to
monitor contractions/expansion and data logged over time to
determine fatiguing. Especially on critical points, ie: hatch rings,
and areas around hull penetrations.

It would also be interesting for all those who built K350s.to have
strain guages placed in the exact same spots in the hull to see
if the data comes out the same over time.
