Hi Chris,
my s-i-l (2B) said she has seen models (they sound like die-cast ones
but is enquiring re ones of non-company paperweights etc. She will try
to track down a name and number and i can follow it from there - but
this will not be her highest priority :(
kockums (spelling?) are the swedish boat-builders/sub designers that
have basically built the collins class subs (in a dockyard in South
Australia) for the Australian Navy
cheers (will keep u posted - sporadically)

Hi Chris,
There may be off-the-shelf versions available already - i am
assuming that you have already done the web searches and turned up
little or nothing.
My soon-to-be sister-in-law ia a lawyer representing kockums. She
isn't a psubber and doesn't want to know about them out of hours.
Regardless I will see if she can make some enquiries for us. She
could at least provide some contact within their office.
cheers

Hey,
Any Aus. Psubbers know where I can get a model to build of a
Collins class sub? Hopefully a place where you can order online?
