Thanks. I'll have to go back and find that posting. Perhaps I'm mistaken or misquoting.
 
Nonetheless, I'd like to have all of the formulas handy so that I can establish a greater level of confidence in my designs. Due to my lack of experience, trial and error gets more difficult. For example if my ballast tanks are too small, I've built myself strange surface boat :-)

Stay with the first plan,,,,you had it mostly right....the pressure on a hull at 100 feet is just over 43 psi....that ain't much...You've accidentally run into some ones BS....depth pressure is 14.7 pounds for each 33 feet....in other words ,,for quick cal....half of the depth your working with...DJB
