Back in the 60s, I think, there was a Lloyd Bridges movie
called "The Most Dangerous Game" (or something like
that).   He was a diver who undertook, with his team, a
Mission: Impossible-esque project the nature of which
I do not now recall.

One of the devices used was a folding underwater 
tent.   The underwater base was dropped, with the 
team, from a C-119 (always one of my favorites).
It was the same sort of thing we're talking about
here, except that it was used by adults in a movie.

If anyone can find a copy of that movie, I'll pay for
a copy.
