I have been in contact with this site for many years and I am very pleased to see it growing as submersibles have been an intricate part of my life for the past 12 years. I have been fortunate enough to work in the tourist submersible industry and since 1997 in the research submersible industry. Being a pilot for almost 10 years; my main concern is always safety. It is the one thing that you can't have too much of.
Safety should always have the top priority when designing and building a manned submersible wether it is a wet sub or a dry single atmosphere sub. However, safety is more than just designing and building cool gadgets to make your sub safe. Safety begins with the human element, and it is part of the overall safety system. It begins with you.
I really want to see the day when manned submersibles can be as common as private planes or boats. On the mean time many in this site are trying to learn the ropes on how to build a submarine.
For this reason, I want to offer consulting services on an hourly basis for those of you who may be interested in some help. This could be in the form of engineering design, equipment selection, fabrication, testing, troubleshhoting and repairs, project management, business planning, developing and writing operations manuals, designing and implementing a maintenance procedures / manual, pilot training, training design and development and other similar services.
