Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Scubatron
Hi Storm,
Hmmm, we seem to be thinkng along the same lines.
The plans call for fiberglass over a chined-type hull. I'm rethinking
this.
It's also constructed as 2 halves....this I'm reworking, too, so it is a
unitized hull.
I have other ideas for the pontoon/snorkel. With the pontoons it might
give you
a depth of 10feet. I believe with the right materials and re-design it
could
go 10meters maybe more.
I've noticed on the Riley site there are builders' examples of other
projects
but not the Aquasub. A search on google comes up dry. You and I may be
the only ones interested.
I've got a lot of the materials and tools for this project in storage, I
just don't
have the space to build it [ nor the time, now...I'm going thru probate
on my
mother's estate ]
I'll keep you posted.
