I have received a reply from Dr. Michael Stachiw regarding a discount
for the book "Handbook on Acrylics of Submersibles, Hyperbaric Chambers
and Aquaria" authored by Dr. Jerry D. Stachiw.

For those interested, the Stachiw's have offered a rather generous
discount for PSUBS.ORG participants.  We have essentially two discount
options that includes the book AND two CD's filled with copies of the
various technical reports that a large portion of the book is based.
The CD's have a sales value of $300.00 and are NOT included when the
book is purchased through a bookstore.  The CD's are only included when
purchasing the book through the Stachiw's business, www.hydroport.com

Choice 1:
Everyone purchases separately from the www.hydroports.com website via a
special ordering mechanism they will set up.  Cost for the book and CD's
is $165.00, shipping is $15 per book domestic, $25 international.  This
option is only available through February 2004.

Choice 2:
We buy enmasse and pool our order through hydroport.com for a cost of
$150 per book (CD's included), shipping of $15 per book domestic, $25
international.  They require a minimum of 10 orders to use this method.
You will send your money to PSUBS.ORG and we will send a combined check
to hydroports.com.  Hydroports will ship the books directly to you.

If we have at least 10 people interested in this book, I suggest choice
number two which will essentially get you free shipping when compared to
the first discounted choice.  Let's try to make a decision by the end of
the week if possible.

In order to make this as simple as possible, ONLY reply to this message
if you want to purchase a book.  Indicate your preference, choice 1 or
choice 2.

a discount to this group.  If you want to send them a thank you, go to
their website at www.hydroports.com and send them an email.
