Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] [Fwd: Bluespace]
It looks very good. But i do have my doubts. It is supposed to be a
affordable sub because it is human powered . They make a comparison between
a Yamaha jetski (USD 10.000) and a waterbike (USD 1000). They say that an
electricaly driven sub costs aprox. USD 150.000, so a human powered version
will cost only USD 15000. It is a very creative way of calculating.
Secondly they do not say anything sensible about there human propulsion
system. It's a mistery how the system works. And last but not least they say
that an simple tourist with no training at all can spend hours at a depth of
30 mtr. In the past we had discussions about leathal designs and ideas, i
think this is a good candidate. But still it is a goodlooking sub.
Greatings,
Thijs Struijs
