I also have wondered this but then thought..a rebreather would only be used in a wet sub wouldn't it? then my next question is similar to the original question...if bottled air is used within a dry sub...wouldn't the same problem happen...an increase in cabin pressure? if you started out at 1 atm you'd end up with more later...then again Im such a novice at this Im probable missing something rather obvious
