Sorry, I apparently didn't make my concept clearer. Let me try again. Imagine a truncated cone 8' long (~245cm), going from 28"-32" (~71-81cm) at my head to 18" (~46cm) at my feet. Rather than truly "suspended", I'd be strapped (fairly) tight against the padded roof of the cabin, backpack-like, using a standard racing 5-point harness. Filling the gap between myself and the bottom of the cabin is a padded sloping compartment running from its peak at around my collarbone to its terminus near my knees. The pad will be narrower than the hull, leaving room for my arms and legs to rest/dangle/move in the channels formed on either side. The I intend to use the compartment under the pad as the location for at least part of the electronics ... in a pressure hull that small, waste not want not. Being essentially wedged between the roof and the straddled padded compartment, I *shouldn't* go anywhere when inverted during hydrobatic maneuvers.
Warm Regards
Shawn
