The german navy did it the same way in a big tank 36 m deep 
with a escape submarine hatch on the bottom.

For psubers a good way of escape drill will be scuba-diving.. 
..a experince scuba diver knows what he has to do with the 
escape hood. 

I purchase just 6 units from Alec (thanks Alec) for my crew of 3-5
heads. All scuba divers..
