[PSUBS-MAILIST] Busby scan update

Dear fellows,

I'm the one commited to scanning "The Bible". I promise you guys to finish
it sooner or later, it's my tribute to Busby himself and to Doug Farrow.

I started working on that a year ago, published the first chapters and
couldn't resume due to time constraints.

A few weeks ago someone noticed that the site was not operational and I
checked it to learn that the ISP had shutdown it on the grounds I was not
respecting the rules, having not updated the site the last month ...

They agreed to give me back the site but it's not working yet, it takes
weeks for them to answer my requests ... I'll move to another host.

Another thing: the "HD tragedy". My hard disk crashed and I've lost most of
my files. Yeah, I do back up often, burning CDs, but the one containing the
Busby's scan is not legible... I still have the pages 85 to 212 and will
rescan the first pages and publish it very soon.

Aproaching the end of year things are slowing down and I'm sure I will have
some spare time to dedicate to the project.

My plan is to first scan the whole book and then OCRize it and convert to a
searcheble PDF format and besides that have a CD available for you folks.

The pages from 86 to 180 are there, the missing ones will be posted over the
week end and hopefully some other new ones. I'll keep you posted.
