That's what I'm using also, standard tubular fuses of the amperage required.
If you get so much water in a P-sub as to flood your electrical, the fuses
wouldn't be my biggest concern. I located all my electrical panels in the
upper part of the hull. I have fuses in each battery pod but they too are
high in the pods also.
A good idea about the dielectric grease though. I never thought about
coating the fuse ends. It will help with general corrosion from mist in the
air.
