RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] karl stanley sub

Hi big Dave,

I really like that one! Carl has been operating his sub for some years in Roatan. The reason the new one is a custom design is the famous feature of Roatan is an underwater wall. Whereas a sub would normally attempt to maximize visibility on it's same level and downwards, you might have noticed his passenger sphere visibility is for looking up or down. Specially designed for wall diving.

rgds,

Alec

It is pretty neat looking, isn't it? Looks like a Soyuz - at least
before it was painted.

Says it was built specifically for diving at this one particular wreck.
Hm.
