Speaking for myself, I consider my self lucky if I can juggle all of my financial and family obligations and be able to devote time to building a sub. Designing is one thing, actually building a well designed sub is quite another. One has to concave of a plan that has some realistic probability of success. If these new tech ideas are viable then go for it!
