Kinda related. lil' stuff amounts to nanoparticles - and that means possible colloidal suspension.
saw neato site suggesting using as 'self-organizing' spacers between larger particles. 

yeah, looked up carbon monowire concept for roleplaying game. or should i say roll-playing - talking to a munchkin. telling me about how 'impossible to detect' this stuff - beheading and all that. i looked up- would be as strong as piano wire but at 1/10 the thickness. still, can see that - basically a hair or spider web strand. ain't math grand?

don't think related to subs so i'll stop. DID see greated site of ???fuzed silica powder (or was it ash?) added to concrete for amazing performance increase, though.
